Kylie is a registered clinical psychologist with over twenty years counselling and psychology experience and managing partner at Laburnum Psychology. She has worked in a variety of not-for-profit and public health settings, such as The Royal Children’s Hospital and The Salvation Army.
Kylie has extensive experience in working with children, adolescents and adults and for the last eight years has worked in private practice, and will tailor an approach to therapy specifically for your set of circumstances and personality, so that you can become your best self.
Tim is a registered clinical and counselling psychologist and managing partner at Laburnum Psychology. He has worked in a variety of settings, including The Salvation Army and Relationships Australia and he has more than twenty years experience working as a psychologist and counsellor.
For the last ten years Tim has worked in private practice. Prior to that Tim was employed as the manager for The Salvation Army’s Melbourne Counselling Service, a role that combined clinical work, supervision of other psychologists, and consultancy to government on matters relating to mental health in the community, and in particular problem gambling.
Tim predominantly works with adults. Tim helps you to feel comfortable in addressing the uncomfortable. Tim will work with you to address the ‘presenting issues’ to better understand and know yourself to improve your health and wellbeing
Larissa is a registered psychologist with nearly twenty years counselling experience.Her particular interests include working with families, counselling for depression, anxiety, postnatal depression, workplace bullying, eating disorders, problem gambling and relationship counselling.
Larissa's approach is to develop a safe, warm and trusting relationship and to use an eclectic range of evidence-based psychological approaches matched to each individual.
Larissa has worked in a range of counselling settings including Gambler's Help, youth sexual assault counselling and generalist counselling. She has worked in senior roles, including Acting Manager of a large counselling service. Larissa now combines work in private practice with parenting her three children.
Annie completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at Deakin University. Annie has worked in a range of settings including private practice, community health, non for profit, palliative care, and the homelessness and health sector.
Annie has experience in the treatment of a range of anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD and trauma related problems, grief and bereavement, social, emotional and interpersonal difficulties.
Annie predominantly works with individuals, adults and adolescents but is able to work with all people across the life span. Annie has experience working with a range of people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures.

At Laburnum Psychology we provide high-quality care and support at a price that’s affordable.
We don’t believe in prolonging therapy unnecessarily and aim to help you positively progress in the least amount of sessions possible. However we do offer long term therapy if required.
If your General Practitioner (GP) has provided you with a Mental Health Care Plan, the out of pocket expense will be $55 dollars, once you claim the Medicare rebate. You can attend up to ten rebated sessions per calendar year.
If you do not have a Mental Health Care Plan our fee per session is $180. If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim some of these costs.
We accept EFT and credit card facilities for payment, and we can process your Medicare claim on the spot. Make sure you have registered your bank details with Medicare so the rebate can be paid directly to you.

At Laburnum Psychology we normally recommend that you commence with weekly sessions, with the aim to transition to fortnightly and eventually monthly appointments depending on your progress and situation.

After hours appointments are available where needed and you can call us to make an appointment at a time suitable to you.
